The purpose of thls tharlty conllnue5 to be: l. The advancement of education and protsction of health among older people. To provide facilltles In the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the Conditions of Ilfe for older people. 3. To Ralse awareness among the general publlc of the needs and experiences of older people In the area of benefft. The informatlon below sets out the actlvltles we have carried out to further our purposes and fvlfil the public benefit elements during the last twelve months. Actlvltles The Colmcllle Club enjoyed a trfp to Corrfck House for a meal. After the covld restrlrtlons started to ease this allowed for the members to reconnect with each other as a group again. We then opened with fortnlghtly meetlng5 gn October 23 to see If there was stlll a need for the club withln the area. We also reached out for new commlttee mernbers to join the dub. In December we enjoyed a festive dinner together. It was then decided to hold the weekly meetlng again In rnid-january. We continued with weekly games such as botcha and bingo. On St Patrick's week we had lovely stew and dessert delivered to the club members In St Josphes Hall. On 8 March we had the k)cal slnger songwrlter and muslclan Tom Sweeney provlde entertalnment for the members at SL Josephs hall. We have held commlttee meetlngs and our AGM was February *. 2023. where a new committee was formed. Our Activities do not lead to any harni. The only Private benefit from our purpose Is that a trustee or famlly member may participate in the same manner as all other beneficiaries. this is purely incidental and necessary so that the benefit is available to all inhabltants of the area.

This year remains difficult as regards finances due to fortnightty meetings and no annual membership collected, we considered closing the club if a committee could not be formed so we were also winding down. But to our joy and surprise we now have a new committee, and we hope for an uptum in the club's finances.
