Both pre-school and after school services a subject to re8ular inspe¢tlons and have achieved the highest possible standards. There is also a strong body of evidence which supports the Important benefits of early intervention. No harm arises from the work undertaken. What does your or8anlsatlon do7 Paddin8ton operates a playgroup service for children aged 3 Years for the year befo they enter primary %hool. We can accommodate up to $2 ¢hildren acros5 2 Se10nS lam and pm) across five day3 per week term time. This Is prsChl education whlch is focused on leaming and development of children and adhere5 to the Early Years curriculum. It promotes play based learnin8 and provides opportuniiies for children to achieve their full potential and we endeavour to support any child who is presenting With Sn5 of developmentsl delay. We are registered wlth &xial Services and our inspecting Trust in the Southem Health and Social Care Trust. We work d05ely with Early Years for support and guidance on developing best practice for preschool settin85. We also have a strong relationship wtth Pants and the local primary school (St. Joseph's Primary School). We ensure that all 5tsff adhe to regular mandatory training and training needs are discussed and explored through supervision each year. We employ 5 people in this service. We also have an after School service fof primary school aged children. This operates 2pm to 6pm, 5 days per week. We work closely with working parents and the lotsl primary school to deliver this seryice. £hle¥ements. Perforniance, and Results for the Year 2022 In 2022 we auommodated 40 thildren in the playgroup 5ettin8 for the school year. The continued to be some mild disruptions to serylces in the aftermath of the COV1[19 pandemic.
However our stalf body continued io work tireles51y lo ensure the provision of a well-rounded playgroup experience lor all children who attended. As with every year we maintained positive link5 wilh our primary school partners. St. Joseph'5 Galbally and a few other neighbouring schools lo ensure the transrtion to primary school was well managed. We a150 (rUIted a new member of staff lor the incoming school year of September 2022 to June 2023. Financial Re¥lew The financial statements for the year were presented at the AGM and accepted and approved bv the trustees. Brian Robinson Accountancy Ltd has carried out a review of these accounts and has completed and Independeni Accountants report. The flnancial performance was in Ilne wlth tru5tee5' eypectations and the charitable or8anisation remains in a sound financial positlon at the year end.
