## Activities

**Purposes:** To promote activities in Derry City and its surrounding environs in the North West of Ireland (hereafter called the “area of benefit”) by provisioning and sustaining resources, aimed at increasing social skills among young people (hereinafter called “the beneficiaries”) and awareness throughout the community without distinction of disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, with the object of improving the conditions of life. In particular, these are as follows:  (1) To educate and assist the beneficiaries aged 11 to 25 through physical and mental activities within the area of benefit by developing and improving their social skills so as to develop their awareness and understanding.  (2) To increase emotional intelligence among the beneficiaries through cross-community activities and partnerships by building self-awareness, self-regulation, social awareness, and relationship management, so that they grow to full maturity as individuals and citizens and that their conditions of life may be improved.
