Alexander Dickson Primary School PTA Chairpersons report

– September 2022 August 2023

I am delighted to welcome you all here this evening to Alexander Dickson Primary Schools PTA annual general meeting and to present my report encompassing September 2022 – August 2023.

I would like to welcome those who are attending for the first time, it’s great to have new people on board. Thank you also, to the existing members for making the time to attend this evening.

The PTA is extremely proud to be a part of Alexander Dickson Primary School which is held in such high esteem for the all-round education, support and pastoral care it provides to the children of Ballgowan and surrounding communities.

Since the last AGM we have again seen tremendous efforts being made, by you the committee members, the school staff and parents in raising money for the school despite the impact of the cost-of-living crisis – so I express a heartfelt thank you for all you have done in the past year.

The 2022 / 2023 year commenced as follows: AGM held on 10[th] November 2022 in school premises. A new committee for the year 2022 / 2023 was elected. The following nominations were proposed and seconded:

Fund Raising events held during 2022 – 2023:

Chairperson closing comments:

I just want to again express my sincere thanks to all members of the PTA for their hard work during these difficult times, with their constant enthusiasm and eagerness to do as much as possible. I would again like to thank teachers, parents, and most importantly the children who are continually super-excited to get involved in all our activities to raise funds for their wonderful school.

I look forward to working with you all during the incoming school year to meet our objective of raising funds.
