Memorial Trust
I report on the accounts of the Charity for the year ended 31 August 2022.
Respective responsibilities of chartty trustees and examiner:
As the charivs trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the Charities Act
{Northern Irelandl 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act,
to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given by the Commission under section 65{9llbl of the
Charities Act
to state whether particular matters have come to my attention.
Basls of independent examinerf5 report:
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my examination was carried
out in accordance with the general directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 6519){bl
of the Charities Act.
My examination included a reviewofthe accounting records kept bythecharityand a comparison ofthe accounts presented
with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking
explanations from you as charitytrustees concerning any such matters.
My role is to state whether any material matters have come to my attention giving me cause to believe:
l. That accountin8 records were not kept in accordance with section 63 of the Charities Art
2. That the accounts do not accord with those accounting records.
3. That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act
4. That there is further information needed for a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES
The Trustees present the annual report and accounts for the Ted Clarke Memorial Trust for the year ended 31
August 2022.
This year has returned to normal activities following a disruptive year due to COVID.
Portadown FC youth section with over300 young players continued to flourish, offering coaching and match play
weekly.
Portadown FC female youth worked closely wtth the male section to adhere to all the guidelines set out by the
government.
The Trust was successful in being awarded grants throughout the year. The first was from the Probation Board
of Northern Ireland which allowed .Shamrock Park to continue to operate as a venue for the offenders to
complete their community service. This was interrupted for several months with the shut down.
These grants allowed volunteers within the organisation to identify people in the local community who were
struggling both emotionally and financially due to isolation and supply them with community packs which
consisted of food and household item5.
It is hoped that normal business of the Trust will be able to continue.
