Responslbllltles of trustees and examiner As the trustees of the charitable company (and also its directors for the purposes of company law) you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the CompaniesAct 2006 (the 2006 Act). It is my responsibility to: • examine the financial statements under section 65 of the Charities Act (Northem Ireland) 2008,. follow the procedures laid down in the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Act; and slate whether particular matters have come to my attention.
