The present ti-ustees liave been involved in the cliarity for a number of years aiid so are familiar witli
its work. The ti'iistees regularly review the I'eqiiireinents of tlie cliai'ity aiid tlie possibility of a iieed for
additional triistees. Any new tl'LlStees woiild be appointed by i'esolution of a meeting of all tlie triistees
passed by a majoi'ity of those present. Appi'opriate training and indiictioii is available to all ti'ustees.
Risk management
The ti'ustees liave assessed tlie Inajoi- risks to wliich th¢ chai'ity is exposed, in particular those i'elated to
the operatioiis aiid finaiices of tlie Trust, and are satisfied tliat systems al'e in place to mitigate an
exposLlI'¢ to Inajor risks. Wliei'¢ appi'opi-iate, systems or procedui'cs have been establisl)ed to initigate
the risks tl)e cliarity faces. Iiiternal control i'isks are minimised by the impleinentation of pi-ocedui'es
foi. aiitlioi'isation of all trai)sactions and projects. Procedures are in plac¢ to ensiii'e compliance with
hcaltli and safety of staff, volunteei's, clieiits and visitors. Tliese pj'ocedui'es al-e periodically reviewed

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
Tlie objectives and pi'incipal activities of tlie cl)arity are to bring relief to individiials in South ArInagli
who al'e sufferlng hai'dsliip, sickness oi. disti'¢ss as a i'esult of the coi)flicts in Northerii Ii'eland, to
advance the ediication of tlie public in Soutli Armagh and elsewhei-e on the effects of tlic conflict and
especially oli tlie effects of tlie coiiflict on childi'eii aiid to provide siipport and coiinselling seivices in
Soiitli Armagh for victims of tlie conflict iii Noithern Ireland.
Volunteei's
Tlie cliai'ity is gi'atefiil for the unstiiiting effoits of its volunteei's who al'e involved in all aspects of tlie
cliai'ity's work.

conflict in Noithern Ii'eland by way of orgaiiised ti'ips, befriending, counselliiig, educational tft'aining.
Tliese services depend on ongoing fuiiding being available and are subject to i'elevaiit gi'ants being
foithcomiiig.
