REPORT OF THE TRUSTEES
FOR THE YEAR ENDED 5 APRIL 2025
The trustees present their annual report with the accounts for the year ended 5 April 2025.
Purpose:
- Carrickfergus Gospel Hall will: (i) advance the gospel of Jesus Christ among the general public, in accordance with biblical principles and practice both in the UK and abroad in a manner consistent with our statement of faith.
(i) | support the outworking of the Christian faith by donations to Christian missionaries and charities. The public benefit which flows from our purpose is that the gospel of Jesus Christ is proclaimed among the general public locally and abroad which may result in a personal faith in Jesus Christ and lead to an improved spiritual, mental and moral wellbeing.
Activities during the year:

Carrickfergus Gospel Hall arranges activities to advance the Christian gospel among young people, ladies, men, and the general public. These activities included gospel meetings, bible studies and fellowship meetings.
During the year Carrickfergus Gospel Hall provided financial support to Christians involved in missionary work in the UK, Ireland, and other countries.
The Causeway Bible Week, an international Christian summer camp held at White Park Bay Youth Hostel during July 2024 for young people from Ireland and Slovakia, was organised and Financially supported by Carrickfergus Gospel Hall.

Financial summary:
At the start of the financial year, 6 April 2024 Carrickfergus Gospel Hall (the charity) held £21,820.38 in bank accounts and cash. During the year, the charity provided financial support of £29,300.00 for Christian workers at home and abroad. The international summer camp received support of £5,150. A total of £9,283.30 was spent on expenses and building maintenance. At 5 April 2025, the charity held £49,482.40 in bank accounts and cash.
Governing document: Carrickfergus Gospel Hall is governed by a Trust Deed dated 29th September 2018. The trustees have had regard to the Commission's Public benefit requirement statutory guidance.
