The Churches charitable object is principally found on the advancement of religion, which is recognised by the Charity Commission as a Charitable purpose having public benefit.

The principle object of the Charitable purpose is promoting and advancing of the Christian faith as stated in Chapter 2 of the Constitution of the Fellowship of Independent Methodist Churches. There is no harm flowing from our purpose. There is also no private benefit flowing from this purpose. Our beneficiaries are the general public in and around the district where our church is located and visitors from further afield.

Charitable Benefit

A Summary of the Main Activities to Further its Purposes for Public Benefit

The Church holds weekly Sunday services for both regular attenders and visitors so that all can benefit from the teaching of the Word of God and fellowship together. A weekly prayer meeting is held and is open for all. There is a Sunday School and a weekly Children’s Club; these groups provide a platform to benefit all children across the community. During the summer we hold a Holiday Bible Club for children of Primary School age and all are made very welcome. A BBQ too is open to all and very much enjoyed in the summer months. For the ladies there is a meeting which provides a social and religious programme for all who wish to attend. We also have various activities at Christmas time and everyone is made welcome across the community. Pastoral care and visiting is provide for all.
