Public Benefit Statement
The Trustees have had regard tothe Chartycommission Public Benefit TequiTement statutory guidance and
consider that Omagh Independent Methodist Church meets the public benefit requirement, through the
advancement of religion. by providing benefit to its members and the general public by making known the good
news ofthe Lord Jesus Christ and Salvation through Him. The Trustees of OIMC have gwen consideration tothe
Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's statutory guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities
undertaken throughout this year have helped to achieve the purpose ol the charity and provide a benefit to il's
beneficiaries. Our beneficiaries Include our members. regular attendees and the local Cofnmunity.
Main activities of the Charitylo further its purposes for Public Benefit
The church holds rwo services each Sunday. These services are open forthe public to attend. duringwhich our
cjesire and goal Is that all in attendance will receive Biblical teaching and fellowship. Prayer meetings are held
on weekly. on Thursday nights. providing an opportunity for those who allend to join to pray for the spiritual and
physical needs of those in our local community. There are several children and youth weekly events. open to
the children and young people in our community. Sundayschool is held prior to the Sunday morningservice
and is open to 811 school-age children."Lifeliners" Children's Bible Club Iprimary-aged children) and "Senior
Lifeliners" (Junior secondary school age) are held weekly on Thursday nights throughout the autumn. winter

and spring months. Wo also hold <7 weekly youlh meeting on Friday evenings, open lo young pooplo and young
adults Irom socondary school onwards. Each sunimer we organise a "Holiday Bible Club" pwovidinE Biblo
based acrivilies tor childron each evening. running loi five days. OLJr-Ladies Meoiing" Is held Tnonthly. pioviding
an opponLsnily lor ladies in oui tellowship and local community to come togothor foi fellowship and teaching.

The Trusiees have pul policies in placo to proteci all attonding and volunteering in church aclivities. All
volunteors involved In work amoiigst minors and vulnerablo people receive safeguarding training along with
Access Nl clearance.

The Trustees have ieviewed tho Accounts as detailed In the following pages of this Report and consider Ihai
Ihese Show the Church to be In a financially stable posilion. Income tolalled £134.033.23. with expenditure
iotalling £125,955.00. Closing balance is £91.232.73.
