The purpose of Killynure Communlty Assoclation is to provide educational, leisure and recreati
activltie5. To proactively work to tackle social. environmental and economlc concerns wlthln the Killy
area and work in partnership with voluntary, statutory and communlty organizatlons to improve the I
area and create a safer, better place to live for all resldents.

Activities and Performance
In setting our objectives and planning our activities for the year the trustees have given careful
consideration to the Charity Commission Nl's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activ
have helped to achieve the charity's purposes and provide a benefit to the beneficiaries.
Community Fun Days and activities
Coronation Celebration
PCSP youth artivities
The Community Hub; advice clinics and space for user groups
Interagency environmental work
Liaison with Housing bodies and providers
Community drop-in service
Digitsl Inclusion training
During the yearwe secured fundingfrom Lisburn & C8Stlereagh Council and the Nl Housin
Executive totalling £19,035.00. We also received donations totalling £1,765. Our total recei
for the year amounted to £20.800. We made payments in totalto the v8lue of £29,948.75
Le8ving us with 8 bank balance at the 31 March 2024 of £16,732.74.

I have carried out an independent examination of the accounts of Killynure Commun
Association for the year ended 31 March 2024.
Respective responsibillties of Trustees and Examlner
As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in
accordance with the Charities Act (Nl) 2008.
It is my responsibility to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
to follow the procedures laid down in the general directions given bythe Chatity
Commission under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act
state whether particular matters have come to my attention
Basis of Independent Examiner's statement
I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act
and an examination was carried out in accordance with the general directions given by
the Charity Commission Nl under section 65 (9)(b) of the Charities Act.
The examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a
comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also included
onsideration of any unusual items or disclosures in the accounts and seeking
explanations from you as charitytrustees concerning any such matters.
As the Independent Examiner my role is to state whether any material matters have
come to my attention giving cause to believe
