## **TRUSTEES’ ANNUAL REPORT** 

for the financial year ended 30 June 2025 

The trustees present their Trustees' Annual Report and the receipts and payments accounts for the financial year ended 30 June 2025. 

The financial statements are prepared in accordance with the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008. 

In this report the trustees of Neptune Group Charitable Foundation (or “the charity”) present a summary of its purpose, governance, activities, achievements and finances for the financial year 30 June 2025. 

## **Mission, Objectives and Strategy** 

Neptune Group Charitable Foundation is established for exclusively charitable purposes, namely: 

1. for the relief of those in need by reason of youth age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage and in particular but not limited to the provision of financial assistance and other benefits to meet the charitable need of children disadvantaged by physical or mental disabilities, ill health, poverty, neglect or abuse or otherwise restricted from achieving their full potential by assisting with medical expenses, vacations, trips, sporting activities and special opportunities, bursaries and scholarships amongst others; 

2. For the advancement of Education, including but not limited to the identification of situations in developing nations where the provision of educational facilities and resources is lacking, and responding to this by providing resources to enable as required the construction of schools, the supply of educational materials, the sponsorship of students or teachers, amongst others; and 

3. For the advancement of Health and saving lives, including but not limited to the identification of situations in developing nations where the provision of healthcare facilities and resources is lacking, and responding to this by providing resources to enable as required the construction of hospitals and clinics, the supply of medical equipment, the sponsorship of medical workers, amongst others. 

## **Structure, Governance and Management** 

## **Structure** 

Neptune Group Charitable Foundation has a management committee of up to 7 members who meet at least twice a year and are responsible for the strategic direction and policies of the charity. At present the charity has 3 members from a variety of professional backgrounds relevant to the work of the charity. 

A scheme of delegation is in place and day to day responsibility of the services rest with the Trustees. They are responsible for ensuring the charity delivers the services specified and that key performance indicators are met. 

## **Governance** 

The Trust Deed was signed on 29 November 2015. The charity is constituted under this Trust Deed and is governed under this deed. 

The Trust Deed was amended in 2018. 

The charity has been registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland from 25 October 2018 under registration number 107097. 

## **Public Benefit** 

The Trustees have had regard to the Commission’s Public benefit requirement statutory guidance and it meets the requirements through its charitable purposes as set out above. 

## **Financial Review** 

At the end of the financial year the charity has assets of £508 (2024: £7,797). During the year the charity received donations of £0 and made charitable contributions of £6,964 (2024: 3,500).
