Eamonn P McGrady & Co report on the accounts of the Downpatrick Community Collective for the
year ended 31 March 2023, which are set out on page 9.
Respective r¢sponsibilities of trustees and examiner
As the charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the
Charilies Act (Nl) 2008.
It is the responsibility of Eamonn P McGrady & Co to:
examine the accounts under section 65 of the Charities Act
follow the procedures laid down in ihe general directions given by the Charity Commission
under seclion 65(9) (b) of the Charities Act.

Basis of independent examiner's statement
Earnonn P McGrady & Co have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the
Charilies Act and our examination was carried out in accordance wilh the generdl Directions given by
the Charity Commission Nl under section 65(9) (b) of the Charities Act.
Our examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of
the accounts presented with those records. It also included consideration of any unusual items or
disclosures in the accounts, and ￿Cking explanations from you as chartty trustees conceming any
such matters.
The role of Eamonn P McGrady & Co is to state whether any material matters have come to our
attention giving cause to believe:
l That accounting records were not kept in accordance with section 62 of the
Charities Act
2 That ihe accounts do not accord with those accounling records
3 That the accounts do not comply with the accounting requirements of the
Charities Act
4 That there is further infornialion needed for a proper understsnding of th¢
accounts to be reached

Eamonn P McGrady & Co have completed an examination and have no concerns in respect of the
matters I to 4 listed above and, in conneclion with following the Directions of th¢ Charity
