## Activities

**Purposes:** The Charity’s objects (‘the Objects’) are to:-  (1)	Provide recreational facilities and advance the social needs, health and well-being of men of over eighteen years of  age  and of all backgrounds living in the East Down area and its environs (the “area of benefit”) by: (a)	creating, developing and maintaining a social and workshop space and providing other facilities and amenities so as to help improve men’s health and well-being and reduce isolation; (b)	offering opportunities for men to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice; (c)	developing the capacity of men to share their skills and knowledge with others; (d)	encourage and facilitate involvement in voluntary and community activity.  (2)	Providing opportunities for those aged 18 or more years to take part in recreational activities, socialise, build self-confidence and engage in creative activity and team work with the object of improving their conditions of life.
