The Charity is based at 12, The Cedars, Antrim.
The Charity was established as a Christian response to relieve, extreme, local (Northern Ireland) poverty and the financial hardship of people who are in conditions of urgent need by the provision of financial assistance and by any other charitable means as the trustees shall consider appropriate. The finances needed to achieve this come from two main sources, donations and fundraising.
We receive donations from various people who know of our charity.
Money was spent on supporting individuals both directly and indirectly through organisations, including Christians Against Poverty (CAP) and Safe Families.
Some examples of how we helped this year - we paid for oil for families who were struggling to heat their homes through a harsh winter, we also paid for the repair of a boiler for a family who had been going without heat during a very cold spell as they could not afford to repair the boiler. We also
helped pay for the cost of a funeral as the family could not afford to pay as they had several deaths in the family in quick succession.
