## - Trustees Report for Financial Year 2022 2023

The Trustees, Brendan Durkan, Tom Moore, Patrick Quinn and Anne Smyth, are happy to report that, following the earlier constraints occasioned by Covid-19, the Organisation is now able to operate in a normal fashion and continue to provide regular Talks of an historic nature.

In conjunction with the first Talk of the 2022-2023 year, held on the 25[th ] October 2022 the Society’s Annual General Meeting was held. The Chairperson declared all Officer and Trustee positions vacant, invited Eamon Fitzpatrick to take the Chair for the election of an incoming Committee and Trustees.

Eamon Fitzpatrick called for nominations from the floor. The following proposal was made by Martin Toal; “Given that the outgoing Officers and Trustees have managed to hold the organisation together during the difficulties of Covid-19 I propose that the outgoing Officers and Trustees be returned”. This was immediately seconded by Arthur Shields.

The acting Chairperson asked if there were any further nominations. With no further nominations the acting Chairperson declared all positions now filled.

The Trustees are content that the Organisation is in good shape, adhering to the Constitution and continuing to maintain its obligations to public safety.

The Trustees agreed to retain ASM as Accounts Examiner and that the Society’s address would continue to be

46 Chestnut Grove, Newry, Co. Down BT34 1JT.
