Structure

The community association is managed by a small group of volunteers.

Objectves.

The aim of the group is to enhance and promote the village of Cushendun and surrounding area by organising various events during the year. These include; summer planting in the village, monthly whist drives, the publication of newsletters, coffee mornings, Set dancing, Art classes and the organisation of Christmas events for young children and senior citizens.

Statement of Compliance.

In setting out our objectives the trustees have given careful considerations to any controls set down by the Charities Commission or any local authority which includes The National Trust.

Achievements And Performance.

The CDDA have completed various activities in order to achieve their objectives during 2023.

Financial Review.

Having obtained funding from various sources, together with donations, the group has been able to maintain sufficient cashflow to continue their activities throughout 2023.

This report was approved by the committee of trustees on 08/02/2024 and signed on behalf of the committee by the treasurer.
