## Kilcooley Community Forum Ltd 

Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held at 10.30 am on Monday 09 September 2024 

Jim Russell opened the meeting and welcomed everyone.

Board of Directors: 

James Russell (Chair), Jim Rea Director, James Andrews Director, Joanie Brown Director.

2 The minutes of the AGM held on the 23[rd] of August 2023 were approved and adopted. 

3 Chair’s annual report 

• The forum offices currently operate with one full-time and part-time worker. They are funded through the Department for Communities. We are currently on a 2-year contract which will be up for renewal in February 2025. 

• The forum continues participating in the Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership Board and currently Chairs the education sub-group. 

• The forum is proactively supporting Health and Well-being with other like-minded groups and agencies in Kilcooley. 

• The forum continues to manage the horticultural training hub, and classes have grown significantly over the past 12 months. 

• Land requested from the Housing Executive is still being processed and their response has been slowed down by a backlog. 

4 The financial report and audited accounts for 2024/25 were approved and adopted. It was agreed to reappoint Broad Street Advisory. 

5 The following Director was reappointed for 2023-24: JR as Chair; It was noted that Jill Stevenson, finance officer for the Forum would continue to Minute the meetings. 



## 6 AOCB 

• The forum requested and received additional monies from the Department for Communities to refurbish the training hub polytunnels in 2024 

7 The next AGM will be decided at the next board meeting, JR closed the AGM
