Minutes of the Annual General Meeting 

held at 10.30 am on Friday 24 August 2023 

JR welcomed everyone.

2 The minutes of the AGM held on Tuesday 9 August 2022 were approved and adopted. 

- 3 Chair’s annual report 

• The forum has experienced an increase in small pots of funding due to an increase in work with member groups. 

• The forum continues to participate in the Neighbourhood Renewal Partnership Board and currently Chairs the education sub-group. 

• The forum is proactive in supporting Health and Well-being with other like-minded groups and agencies 

• The forum continues to manage the horticultural training hub and there has been a significant growth in classes since the relaxation of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

• Land requested from the Housing Executive is still being processed and their response has been slowed down by a backlog. 

4 The financial report and audited accounts for 2022/23 were approved and adopted. It was agreed to reappoint Broad Street Advisory. 

5 The following Director was reappointed for 2023-24: JR as Chair; It was noted that Jill Stevenson, finance officer for the Forum would continue to Minute the meetings. 

6 AOCB 

• The forum has requested additional monies from the Department for Communities to refurbish the training hub polytunnels 



7 The next AGM will be decided at the next board meeting, JR closed the AGM
