The Charitable purposes of Friends of St. Marvs P.S. Altinure are:
Purpose 1 Improved relationships between home and school - The benefit which flows
from this purpose includes funding for additional resources for the school and links built
with the local community.
Purpose 2 - Advancing the education of pupils in school - The benefit which flows from this
purpose includes increased educational progress and attainment of pupils in the school and
links built with the local community
Purpose l is demo/TStrated through having an active Friends ofst. Matys PSAssociation
that works in partnership with the school and engages parental sUPPOrt.
Purpose 2 is den70nstrated through pupils havingaccess to resources, events, activities and
links with the local community which are not available through dirertschool funding.

To further these purposes for the public benefit, we carried out the following artivities:
Provision of refreshments in St. Maws Church, Altinure for family members at
Confirmation - 4th March 2023
Provision of refreshments in outside marquee for family members of First

Tea and biscultslsoup and a roll organised and senjed to Parents on Sports Day-

HOPE fundraiser draw- £520.00 raised for HOPE Banagher & HOPE Claudy to help
fund summer camp for local children- 30thJune 2023
The main achlevements of Friends of St. Marfs P.S. Altinure in the year 2022-23 were:
Cheque for £2653.00 presented to school to purchase Clevertouch whiteboard and
fixed wall mount for P6 classroom - 1st September 2022
Provision of cupcakes for P7 pupils maklng their Confirmation _ 4th March 2023
Provision of cupcakes for P4 puplls for First Communion- 13th May 2023
AR prizes for participants who achieved at least 10 points, and £5.00 presented to 5
AR millionaires- Sept 22-June 23
Mathletics prizes for all 85 Gold Certificate winners, entltling pupils to free Kids, Meal
from Burke5' Chippy-june 2023
Application for funding to IOS Nl-Fujitsu-June 2023
The trustees have read the Commission's Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance and
have had regard to this when running the charity.

In the financial year 01/09/2022 to 3110812023, the Charity had an income of £0.00 and an
expenditure of £2,920.00.
There are no funds held by the charity that are materially in deficit.
