A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

This year we had 13 Girls ranging from age 4 – 7, regularly attending and taking part in our unit.

Throughout the year we have taken part in a range of Unit activities based around the Be Well, Have Adventures, Know Myself and the Promise sections of the Programme. The girls also completed two Stage 1 Skills Builders Badges based around the following areas, First Aid & Network, this gave the girls knowledge and confidence to use these skills in the future, in and outside of Girlguiding.

Each of the girls chose what interest badges they wanted to complete as a group and worked on and completed the Animal Lover, Agility & Healthy Mind sections.

We also included craft & activities for calendar events i.e. Christmas, Mother’s Day & His Majesty the Kings Coronation which worked in with our Programme activities.

We also took the girls to see Puss in Boots at the cinema in February 2023, had two visits from FitMinds where they learnt the importance of exercise and keeping healthy. All the Girls attended the Girlguiding Ulster event Zooper at Belfast Zoo in May, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Some girls attended the County Holiday Camp in July 2023 at Benone Camp Site.

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.
