Killyclogher Senior Citizens Club Killyclogher Senior citizens Club NIC 106904 Trustees Annual Report 6 April 2024-5 April 2025 THE PURPOSES OF THE CHARITY ARE: 1.1 The Club is established for the advancement of education and protection of health among older people aged 50 or over in Killyclogher and its environs (hereinafter called the area of benefit and in particular: (i) Provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people (ii) Raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experiences of older people in the area of benefit. - Annual Activities This was another successful year for the Members who participated in a number of enjoyable aCrivities including Boccia, knitting, crocheting, cards, bulb planting, Bingo and Armchair Exercises. They also enjoyed a monthly Tea Dance. They took two tables at the local artisan Fair where they sold knitwear, crochet items, jams, cakes and chutney. They enjoyed hot finger food on St. Patricks Day and Halloween. This year the members enjoyed Christmas Lunch in the Silverbirch Hotel followed by music and dancing. The annual βTripβ was to the Famine Village in Donegal with Dinner supplied by the Firtrees in Strabane. It proved to be a very successful outing. The Trustees are assured that all activities align with our Purpose and also the CCNis Public Benefit requirement.
