Purpose
The purpose of Little Hands Preschool is to provide a variety of play experiences & learning opportunities in a safe & nurturing environment to enhance the development, care & education of preschool children. We work in partnership with parents to ensure the best outcomes for children, whilst respecting culture & diversity. Our main aim is to enhance children's learning the 6 areas of development as set out by the Education Authority in the Curricular Guidance for Preschool Education.
We aim to help children from the local community & further afield to develop to their full potential, including those from socially disadvantaged areas. The staff have availed of training available to them to maintain a high standard & ensure each child is getting the best possible outcomes. We encourage the children to be as independent as possible whilst building on the skills they already have. We assist the children in getting prepared for starting primary school whilst promoting diversity & equality.
