Public benefft reporting
We seek to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus ChrisL as Outlin￿ In the scrlptures, so that those
in the local community wlll hear the Good News of Salvatlon. The benefit whlch flows from our

purpose is that throu8h attending Sunday Services and midweek Bible Study Meetings, the regular
congregatlon along with visitors will get to know God in a deeper, fuller and personal way.
In 2020 our year began with our usual sd)edule of open church meetin8S takiryg place as listed
above. These activitle5 provided substantlal public benefit within the local community and further
afield. Beneficiaries include those who are in attendance at the regular meetings and to those for
whom aid and assistsnce is provided across the globe through our missionary support.
With the onset of the pandemlc In March 2020 and the inability to meet In person our Audio-Vi5ual
Team rapldly put In place measures to allow those with intemet access to live stream our ser¥ice5
via Zoorn and YouTube. DVD recordings of the servlces were provided for those unable to access
onllne se￿￿$. In many cases this allowed those who ordinarily would not be able to get out to
services the opportunlty to attend. In particular during two lockdown5 it has been of substantial
publlc beneflt for people to be able to share in fellowship and prayer In this way.
In additlon the church website became central to sharing with our congregation and communlty and
was substsntlally developed over the past year. We expect thls to be of ongoing beneflt a5 we seek
to glorlfy God in our communlty and natlon.
It was our prlvilege to support the work of the Newtownabbey Food Bank with regular donatlons of
food and other essentlals whlch helped many who were struggling in our local communltles.
