All Glrlguiding Ulster Charltles are governed by the Royal Charter and Byelaws.
The Purpose of each of these Charlties is to educate girls and young women to help them develop
emotlonally, mentallyp physicalty and spirltually so that they can make a positive contributlon to
their Community and the wlder world.

A summary of the Charftys main activities to further its purposes for the publlc benefit and the
main achievements in the year
We started the year with 7 girls with 3 new girls starting in September. During the year they
participated in UMAS from the new programme, including Express Myself, Be Well and Have
Adventure5 plus associated Skillbuilders. They also worked on Interest Badges and Theme
Awards. During the year there was a residential break in Lorne where the girls enjoyed some
outdoor activities and visited the local Folk Museum.
There is no harm flowing from the purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from the
purpose.

statutory guidance
Throughout the year the Trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to
achieve the charitvs purposes and provided a benefft to the beneficiaries.
A review of the Charlvs financlal posltlon at the end of the year
The opening balance was £704.08. The total income through the year was £1,542.01- from subs,
event contributions, donation and from fundraising through Easyfundraising. £468 was paid for
the census, £537.60 on events and £24.61 for Bank Fees. The closing balance was £1215.88.
There are no debts outstanding.
