All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Byelaws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate 8Srls and young women to help them develop
emotionally• mentally. physically and spiritualty so that they can make a positive contrlbutlon to
thelr Communlty and the wlder world.

A summary of the Charivs maln artlvlties to further its purp￿e5 for the publlc benefrt and the
main achievements in the year
We started the year with 6 girls and in September our numbers increased. During the year they
participated in UMAS from the new programme, including Take Action, Express Myself and Be
Well plus associated SkiSlbuilders. Early in the year the girls participated in an Escape Room
event and at the end of the year there was a residential break in Dunluce House where the girls
enjoyed some outdoor activities on the River Bann with Xplore activities.
There is no harm flowing from the purpose. There is no private benefit flowing from the
purpose.

Throughout the year the Trustees have given careful consideration to the Charity Commission for
Northern Ireland's guidance on public benefit to ensure that the activities have helped to
achieve the charivs purposes and provided a benefit to the beneficiaries.
A revlew of the Charws flnancial position at the end of the year
The opening balance was £910.03. Income through the year was £250 from subs, £315 from
event contributions, £200 donations and £34.84 from fundraising through Easyfundraising. £352
was paid for the census, £135 was spent on materials, including artivity packs forthe new
programme, £499 on events and £19.79 for Bank Fees. The closing balan￿ was £704.08. There
are no debts outstandinR.
