Independent examiner's report to the Trustees of Britannia Concert Band I report on the accounts of the Britannia Concert band for the year ended 31 July 2023. which are Set out below. RespecttV8 responsibilities of trustees and examiner As th8 charity's trustees you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts. The charity's trustees consider thal an audit is not required for this year under s8Ction 65(2) of the Charities Act (North8m Ireland) 2008 (the Charities Act) or under Regulation 10{1){a} to (c) of the Charities Accounts (Scotland) Regulations 2006 (the 2006 Regulations) and that an independent examination is needed. It is my responsibility to-. Examine the aGcounts under section 65 of the Charities Act (Northem I￿land) 2008 and Follow the procedures laid down in the generals Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland under section 65(9)(b) of the Charities AGt (Norlhern Ireland) 2008 State whether parbcular matters have come to my attention Basis of independent examiner's report My examination was carried out in accordan￿ with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland. An examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the accounts presented with those records. It also includes Gonsider of any unusual items Dr disclosure in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as trustees 00n￿rnIng such matters. The procedures undertaken do not provid8 all the evidence that would b8 r8quir8d in an audit and consequently no opinion is given as to whether the accounts present a 'true and fair view, and the report is limited to those matters set out in the next statement.
