We are a cross community group providing education to children 2 years 10 months/ 4 years. In recent years we have welcomed children from different ethnic backgrounds who have settled in our area. Main activ5tles durln the ar We provide a safe calm and caring environment SO that children and staff can learn and work together. Maln achievements In the We provide a high standard of care and education as reflected in Social Services Annual Inspection carried out on I" December 2023. An ETI inspection wa5 carried out in December 2023 both reports showed the capacity to identify and bring about improvement in the interests of our learners. We aim to continue to provide a much-needed service in our area. Financial Situation We a funded as a PEAG Group by the Education Authority but we have experienced a drop- off in birth rate in our area. This year we have children under the PSEP Programme. Due to low numbers we are operating we are also operating a Pre-Pre Session 3 days a week. Unfortunately, due to low numbers we now only have 3 members of stsff. We provide care for children with all abilities. Throughout the year we are sUPPOrted by an Early Years Specialist.
Trustees Commlttee Members At our AGM each year we elect a Management Committee Supported by committee members made. up from the parents. Sandra McNiece a Trustee and part of the management committee liaises with the staff regularly to ensure continued running of the pre-school sUPPOrted by Marie Gorman also Trustee and Registered Person who signs off Polices etc. The full committee meets once a term unless matters arise requiring action.
