There was no harm flowing from the Chari5es purposes and that there was no private benefit.

This associa5on supports the 4 Girlguiding units that run out of TamlaghXinlagan Parish Church Hall ,Ballykelly. These units offer and run a range of ac5vi5es developed by Girlguiding UK for girls on a weekly basis during term 5me.The units are supervised by a team of adult volunteers who are ve[ed and trained by Girlguiding UK.At the beginning the year there were 8 Rainbows(aged 4-7) , 15 Brownies(aged 7-10) 14 Guides (aged 10-14) and 4 Rangers (aged 14-18) registered with Girlguiding UK .There were 10 regular volunteers registered.3 of the rangers are also ac5ng as young leaders to go towards Duke of Edinburgh Award service.

The associa5on applied for an annual EA grant to support the ac5vi5es of the units in keeping with the criteria laid out by the EA.Amongst other expenses,It funds a dona5on to the parish church for use of the hall for 2 evenings of the week.It helps to support any joint ac5vi5es during the year.Grants from the EA are also allowed to be used for purchasing materials to run the unit programme ac5vi5es, and also pay for a propor5on of the annual census fees which are paid to Girguiding UK and cover insurance for each member registered including volunteers.

All the units were very ac5ve during 2025 and several girls in each age group achieved bronze, silver and gold awards for comple5ng theme awards. Some of the girls and volunteers from all the units a[ended a county Thinking Day ac5vity event in Castlerock in february. The Brownie unit had a great ac5vity day and overnight at the Peter Thompson Hall , Castlerock in June .The Guides and Rangers went to Lorne by train for a day of ac5vi5es in April and then a week end camp in June. One of our leaders achieved her camp licence over this week end.During the summer some of the rangers and guides also took part in a day walk in the local country park-unfortunately the weather was awful but they all persevered!!
