**Purposes:** To bring together young people and to promote the benefit of the said young people in the Mourne and district area of Co.Down and its environs ( hereinafter known as the area of benefit) without distinction of sex,race,political,religious or other opinion by association with statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and local people in the common effort to advance education, and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time activities, especially the sport of boxing with the object of improving the conditions and quality of life of young people.
