Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their financlal statements in accordance with
the Financial Reporting Standard applicablè in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102).
The Directors, Report contains the information required to be pmvided in the Directors. Annual Réport under the
Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) guidelines. The directors of the charity are also charity trustees for the
purpose of charity law and under the charivs constilulion are kn¢)wn as members of the board of trustees.
In this report the directors of SCCRR (Nl) Ltd present a summary of its purpose. govemance. acllvllles, achievements
and ffnances for the financial year 31 October 2023.
The Charity is a registered charity and hence the report and re8uIts are presented in a fomi whlch eomplia5 Wlth the
requlremenls of the Companies Act 2006 and. although not obliged to comply with the Statement of Recommended
Practice applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland FRS 102, the organisation has Implemented its

The directors are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and
regulations.

place of business of the charity. The financial statements have been presented in Pound {£) which Is also tha

SUMMARY OF SIGNIFICANT ACCOUNTING POLICIES
The following accounting policies have been applied consistenuy in dealing with items which are considered
material In relalion lo the ¢harily'S financial statements.
Basis of preparation
The financlal statemenls have been p￿pared on the golng con¢em basls urder the historical cost convention,
modified lo include ¢ertain items al fair valug. The financi81 slalements have been prepared In accord8nc8
wlth the Sialement of Recommended Practice (SORP) "Accounting and Reportlng by Charities p￿parIng their
accounts in ac￿rdanCe with the Financial Reporting Stsndard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland

As permitted by the Companles Act 2006, the charlty has variad th8 Standard formats in that act for the

with the requlrements of the Charilles SORP and are in cornpliance with seclion 4.7. 10.6 and 15.2 of that
SORP.

Ihe going concem basis and in accordance with the Ststement of Recommended Practice (SORPI

the donors. Such purposes are within the overall objectives of the charity.

Unreslricled funds consist of General and Designated fund8.
General funds ￿present amounts whlch are expendable at the discretion of thè board, in fvrtherance of ihe
objectives of the ch8rity.
Deslgnaled funds comprise unreslricled funds Ihat the board has. at its discretion. sel aside for particular
purposes. These deslgnations have an adminlstralive purpose only. arKI do not legally reslrfct the board's
discretion lo apply the fund.
Income
Income is recognised by inclusion in Ihe Slatement of Financlal Activities only whén the charity is legally
enlilled to Ihe income, performance condibons attached to Ihe itemls) of income have been mel. the amounts
involved Can be measured with suffirAent reliability and it is probable that the income will b8 réceived by the
charity.
Expenditure
Expenditure Is analysed between costs of charitable aclivitie5 and raising funds. The costs of each aclivlty a
separately accumulated and disclosed. and analyse¢J accordlng to Iheir major components. Expenditure is
recognised when a legal or constructiv8 obligation exists as a result of 8 past event, a transfer of economic
benefits is required in settlement and the amount of the obligation can be reliably measured. Support costs
are those functions that assist the work of the charity but cannot be attributed to one actlvity. Such costs are
allocated to actNities in proportion to staff time spent or olher suitable measure for each actÉvity.
Cash at bank and in hand
Cash at bank and in hand comprises cash on deposit at banks requiring less Ihan three months notice of
withdrawal.
