Summary of the charity's main activities to further its purposes for the
public benefit.
Public benefit. The Trustees are aware of the Charity Commission for Northem
Ireland's guidance on PLJblic benefit and ongoingly seek to ensure that any activitles
undertaken meet with the criteria in that guidance and thereby achieve the charIt￿S
purposes as laid out in Larne Evangelical Church Constitution and provide a benefit to
the beneficiaries.
We the Trustees On￿ again recount God's
faithfulness, with our sincere gratitude to Him
alone, in the following
1. Services continue as normal.
The Gospel preached by the Elders and another member of the church and other
preachers invited by the Elders has benefitted the Church Members who have attended
faithfully throughout the year. Thereby those who have heard the Gospel have had
opportunity to not only hear the Truth, but to live in obedience to the Word of God in the
community of Lame and wider afield, shedding their godly influence to others.
2. The centrality of the preaching of the Word of God is reflected in the Practi￿ of the
hurch at each service on the Lord's day and both Elders have thereby sought to honour

Christ as the Head of the Church, to the benefit of the hearers.
The continued broadcasting of services on the Church Facebook page and YouTube
has enabled us to encourage members who are physically unable to attend and others in
the community who avail themselves of the facility.
3. Members continue to be faithful in attendance at the meetings of the local Church
which are occasioned for the mutual encouragement of the members with the intent to
maintsin the govemment of the same under the Headship of Christ. Remembering
that Christ wanted His house to be called a house of prayer, members who are able
enthusiastically attend the midweek prayer meeting and benefit as they fellowship and
share their burdens with one another and more importantly speak to God their
Heavenly Father. Maintaining these times of prayer remain a focal point in the ministry
bringing encouragement to the members in their ever-present trials in the fa￿ of the
current social climate.
4. Continuing their visitation of elderly members of the Church who are unable to
attend, the Elders have sought to address their role faithfully and prayerfully, thereby
offering support and encouragement, to those in infirmity or old age. In their visitation of
non-members they have intended to evangelise and build contacts with people in the
community who are going through difficult experiences or find themselves in any need
of help.
5. Both of the Elders support one another in the ministry of expository teaching from
the Word of God morning and evening on the Lord's day, with help from gifted
members and visiting preachers, and the Deacons and another church member
continued the consecutive readings of Scripture each Lord's day morning and so show
faithful adherence to the Church Statement of Doctrine.
6. In obedience to God the Lord's Table has been celebrated each Lord's day
rnoming. It is a mainstay of the recognition of our need of the Lord Jesus Christ as
the only atonement for sin, and a rich benefit to the souls of Church members who
faithfully attended to show the Lord's death, resurrection, ascension and promised
return.
We also give thanks to the Lord for the observance of the ordinance of baptism by
immersion as a new confessing believer came into membership.
7. The Deacons continue to faithfully fulfil the duties by attending to the material and
financial affairs of the Church, keeping the accounts and maintaining the Church
property and generally helping with care of the attending people, to the glory of God

and for the benefit of the surrounding community.
The accounts are herewith added to verify their faithfulness and moreover the
faithfulness of God in supplying the needs of His Church here.
8. Many members have been active in visiting those in the community and further
afield who manrfest needs both spiritual. physical and material, being enabled with
God's grace to offer them encouragement, support and genuine Christian love through
sharing the Gospel.
To the glory of God, we believe there are those in the community of Larne and much
further afield who have benefitted and been helped spiritually and practically through the
continued efforts of the Church as a whole.
It has been good to have many new visitors from Larne and beyond the immediate
area, join us and say that they benefitted from the Word of God and the simple
scriptural pattern of worshipping the one true and living God they experienced.
Restrictions on who can benefiL
There are no financial charges for those who can benefit. The use of the church building
is for members who hold to the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith. Any general public are

year.
