A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
There are no debts nor is there a reserves policy.
The previous year’s income was £355.72 and expenditure £393.78. This year’s income was £379.00 and expenditure £449.95. Subscriptions received from members (£353) was slightly less than the amount required to cover the annual subscription payment required by Girlguiding UK (£424). Spending on badges combined with this difference contributed to a small overspend which resulted in a reduction in balances at the year end compared with the opening balances. The overspend for this year was increased compared with the previous year as overall spending was increased. The second bank account was marginally increased at £20.30.
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
