A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

In September 2022 the unit had 13 girls registered. During the year we had a further 4 girls register as Rainbows in January, 3 moved up to Brownies ending the year with 14 girls in total.

During the reporting year the Rainbows worked Girlguiding UK programme, concentrating on the Have Adventures, Express Myself and Skills for my Future themes. Each Rainbow completed Unit Meeting Activities on each theme, worked on Stage 1 of the Communicate, Camp, Explore and Live Smart Skill Builders and some worked independently at home on the Agility, Animal Lover, Drawing and Family Tree Interest Badges.

The girls also worked on Promise activities, craft evenings, attended the Platinum Jubilee Beacon, completed Royal Engagement for the Coronation, took part in the Lorne Walk.

There was no harm flowing from the Charities' purposes and there were no private benefits.

The unit started the 22/23 year with a balance of £685.91, £660.29 in the bank and £25.62 cash in hand, this was brought forward from the 2021/22 account year.
