The Trustees present their report and the financial statements for the
Year Ended 31 January 2022
The Iruslees of the charity, are detailed on page 1.
Structure, Govemance and Management
The 3 A's Anawin Adonai Africa is governed by ils Constitution that was adopted on 5th May 2015. The 3
A's Anawin Adonai Africa is registered with the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland since 17th July
2017 under reference number NIC 106491
Objectives and Activities
The 3 A's Anawin Adonai Africa objective shall be to fund raise for the poor in Africa. The purpose of the
charity is lo support the youth of the St. Mary's Catholic Miambani Mission. Kilu Diocese, Kenya by
administering grants lo provide relief lo those in need, promote health and advan￿ education.
The charity will support Fr Richard N'Guts or appointed successor, to provide charitable need in the
provision of food. payment of education fees, piovision of vaccinations, sour¢ing and supply of water and
the improvements and maintenance of communal areas and accommodation.
Key Activities in this year
The 3 A's Anawin Adonai Africa Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's
general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our objectives and in planning our future activities to
ensure that these achieve the association's purposes and provide a benefi't to beneficiaries.
Financial Review
The Results for the year aTe set out in the Income and Expenditure Account on page 4.
Review of Business
The 3 A's Anawin Adonai Africa is non-profit making. The trustees continue to manage resources in an
efficient and sustainable manner

unforeseen difficulty and that the organisalions known liabilities will be paid, should the organisalion cease
to trade.
Plans for Future Periods
The 3 A's Anawin Adonai Africa plan to continue to focus on controlling costs, while maintaining the high
standards of Servi￿ to our beneficianes.

Statement of the Trustees Responsibi1Sties
The Iruslees are responsible for preparing the Trustees, Reports and the Financial Statements in
accordance with applicable law5 and United Kingdom Accounting Standards (United Kingdom Generally
Accepted Accounting Practice).
The law applicable lo Charities in Northem Ireland, requires the ITU5tees to prepare financial statements
for each financial year, which give a true and fair view of the stale of affairs of the charity and of the
incoming resources and application of resources, including the income and expenditure of the charity for
that period. In preparing these financial ststemenls, the trustees are required to..

I have examined your charity accounts as required under section 65 of the Charities Act and my
examination was carried out in accordance with the general Directions given by the Charity Commission
for Northern Ireland under section 6S19llbl of the Charities Act.
My examination included a review of the accounting records kept by the charity and a comparison of the
accounts presented with those records. 11 also included Conside￿tIon of any unusual items or disclosures
in the accounts. and seeking explanations from you as charity Iruslees concerning any such matters.

1 Accounting Policles
In¢omiTng Resources
Incoming Resources are received by way of donations and gifts and aTe included in full, in the
statement of financial activities on receipt.
Grants Recelvable
Income from grants, including capital grants is included in incoming resources when these are
receivable, ex￿pt as follows..
1. When clonors specify that donation5 and grants given lo the charity mltsl be used in future
accounting periods, the income is deferred until those periods.
2. When donors impose conditions which have lo be fulfilled before the charity becomes
entitled lo use such Income, the income is deferred and not included In incoming resources
until the pre-conditions for use have been mel.
3. When donors specify that donations and grants, including capital grants, are for particular
re51ricled purposes, which do not amount to pre-conditions regarding entitlement, this income
is included in incoming resources of restricted funds when ￿ceIVable.
Resources Expended
All expenditure is accounted for on an accruals basis and has been classified under headings
that aggregate all costs related to the category.
2 Taxatlon
The Charity Is not registered for VAT and accordingly, all ils expenditure is recorded inclusive
of any VAT incurred.
