The purpose ofthe charity is to supportthe youth ofthe St. Mary's Catholic Miambani Mission, Kitu DI0Se, Kenya by administering grants to provide relief lo those in need, promote health and advance education The charity will support Fr Richard N'Guta or appointed successor to provide charitable need in the provision of food. payment of education fees, provision of vaccinations, sourcing and supply of water and the improvemenls and maintenance of communal areas and accommodation. Key Activities in this Year The 3 A'S ANAWIM ADONAI AFRICA fundraising activities include donations. sponsored cycles, charity dances, craft fair and coffee momings.
The 3 A'S ANAWIM ADONAI AFRICA Trustees have considered Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's general guidance on public benefit when reviewing our objectives and in planning our future activities to ensure that these achieve the association's purposes and provide a benefit to beneficiaries. Financial Review The charity's main source of income this year was from fundraising activities and donations. Total monies received in donations amounted to £5816, compared to £2,913 in 2018 and from fundraising activities £5,259 compared with £5,186 in 2018. Review of Business The 3 A'S ANAWIM ADONAI AFRICA is non-profit making with net income and resources in this year of £5,442 compared with £196 in 2018. The trustees continue to mange resources in an efficient and sustainable manner. Reserves Policy The 3 A'S ANAWIM ADONAI AFRICA have a Reserves Policy, which requires that reserves are built or maintained at a level which ensures that the organisalions Core activities could continue during a period of unforeseen difficulty and that the organisations known liabilities will be paid should the organisation cease to trade. Future Plans The 3 A'S ANAWIM ADONAI AFRICA plan to continue to focus on controlling costs, while maintaining the high standards of seNice to our beneficiaries. STATEMENT OF TRUSTEES, RESPONSIBILITIES for the year ended 3110112020 The Trustees are responsible for preparing the financial statements in accordan with applicable law and regulations. The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounling records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the Charity and to enable them to ensure that Ihe financial statements Comply with all appropriate regulations. They are also responsible for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities. sAp.'
