ACCOUNTING POUCIES
BASIS OF FINANCIAL STATEMENTS
As the total income of South Belfast Presbytery Of The Presbyterian Church in Ireland is less than
£250,000 the Presbytery have elected in accordance with the provisions in The Charities IAccounts and
Reports) Regulations {Northern Ireland) 2015 to prepare its accounts on a receipts and payments basis.
FUND ACCOUNTING
Restricted funds are to be expended only on the restrlcted purposes intended by the donor.
Unrestrlcted funds are income funds which areto be spent on the South Belfast Presbytery of The
Presbyterian Church in Ireland general purposes.
Designated funds are unrestricted funds are income funds which have been designated for a speclfic
purpose by South Belfast Presbytery of The Presbyterian Church in Ireland.
