REPORT TO CHARTITIES COMMISSION NORTHERN IRELAND FOR DROMORE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE Feb 2026

Ref: Dromore Church of the Nazarene (106463, CCNI: 0019143)

This report compiled by the Trustees of Dromore Church of the Nazarene outlines the activities of the church from the 1[st] October 2024 to the 30th September 2025

1. The Work of the Charity

The work of the charity is based on the fact that the local Church of the Nazarene exists to serve as an instrument for advancing the Kingdom of God through the preaching and teaching of the gospel. This is done mainly during the Sunday and Tuesday Night Services in the Church.

After the Sunday Evening Service supper is provided to all who wish to avail of this. We encourage people to come to this whether they come to church or not to give people the opportunity for some friendship together and get a hot cup of coffee/tea plus some food. This is a good work for the charity as some people who have come or are coming to this have limited opportunity for friendship or fellowship.

The church has a ministry to non-members of the church whereby visitation takes place and also the availability of both our minister and premises for help as and when required. In relation to this the charity ministers to people of different religious persuasions. A number of people from the community who are nonmembers attend our meetings.

When requested funerals and weddings are conducted for people who are not members of the church to provide help to the local community.

The church building is situated within the town of Dromore and the church is always seeking new ways of being more community involved.

We are seeking new ways whereby our Church Hall can be used by the Community. Already some local people are using this. An example being a group whose hobby is RC Cars.

1.Where money comes from?

The money comes mainly from the regular offerings each week by the people attending worship and meetings at the church. Another source of income for the charity would be Gift Aid.

2. How the money was spent?

The money was spent on the day-by-day running expenses of the church. The single largest expenditure was to the pastor of the church who is employed by the charity for 18 hours per week.
