The charity is govemed by its constitution and is established to advance the education of the pupils
attending the Sacred Heart Boyg Primary School In North Belfast by providing or assisting in the
provlslon of educational facilities at the school and developin8 effective ￿latIOnShipS between the
Staff, parents and others who befriend the school and by any other charitable means as the trustees
see fit.

The charity will or8anise events and apply for funds in order to enhance the opportunities for children
and parents in a highly deprived area. They will aim to provide activities and improve the surroundlngs
for the families within the Sacred Heart Community.

Achlevements and Performan
During the fjnancial perlod. the charity onty held one fundralsln8 event due to the effects of the Covid
pandemlc. whlch resulted In income of £1,925.60. This enabled the charlty to pr(Nide fvnds and
resources to the school totallln8 £1,180, to Include flu vacclnations for teachers and for having the
entrance corridor painted.
Flnanclal Re¥lew
The charity generated a small profit of £295.85, after deductln8 the cost of charrtable a¢ti¥ity- The
charity is 8rateful to all contributors who have volunteered in their efforts to ralse the funds for the
school, especially gtven the constralnts of Covld. At 31 July 2022 the charity has reserves of £3,140to
utilise for thelr charltable activitles In the future.

The trustees are ￿spOnsIble forpreparing theTrustees' Annual Report and the accounts in accordance
with applicable law. The trustees have eletted to prepare the accounts under the receipts and
payments ￿gUlatiOns. The trustees are ￿sponSible for ensuring the charlty Is eligible to prepare
account5 under the receipts and payments accounts.
The law appllcable to charlties in Northem Ireland requires the trustees to prepare accounts for each
financial year. In preparing these accounts, the trustees are required to:
observe the methods and principles in the requirernents for receipts and payment accounts;
The trustees are responsible for keeping proper accounting ￿CordS that disclose with reasonable
accuracy at any time the financial position of the charity and enable them to ensure that the financial
statements comply with the Charitles Act (Northern I￿land) 2CI)8, the Charities {Accounts and
Reports) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2015, and the provlsions of the trust deed. They are a150
responslble for safeguarding the assets of the charity and hence for tsklng reasonable steps for the
prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities.
