The Trustees present the annual report for Jessie Fades Memonal Church of the Nazarene,
Desertmartin for the year ended 30th September 2023.
Objectives and Activities
Thc charitable pujpose of the Church is to uphold and extend cvangclical Christianity consistcnt
with the Word of G(Kl and the Manual of th¢ Church of the NaLircnc.
Achievements, Performance and Public Benefit
The Church has given carefid consideration to the Charity Commission for Northern Ireland's
guidance on public benefit to ensure the activities entered into during the year bave helped to
ackn'eve the Church's objectives and activities, as well as proVid￿g public benefit.

It is the policy of the Trustees to invest and reservc funds to gain the best possible return without
putting them at risk.
Our operating receipts and pa)qnents report shows a surplus in 2023. A small SUTplus is expected
in the next period.
Going Concern
The Trustee's have revieThed the budgets for the year ahead and are satisfied that there are
adequate funds in place to ensure the Church can continue its aetivities and the financial
statements for the )rar ended 2023 can be Si￿ed off as a going concern.
Compliante and Public Benefft
The Church has given careful consideration to the Charity" cornn￿S10n for Nortbem Ireland's
guidance on public benefit to ensure that activities entered into during the year have helped to
achieve the Church's objectives and actiT/ltics. as well as providll￿ public benefit.

Statement of Trustee's Responsibilities
The Trustee's are responsible for preparing the TrLtstees report and statement of receipts
and pajinents and statement of assets and lobilitses in ac£ordance with applicable law
and regulations.

trustees to prepare a statement of receipts and paJTnents and a statcm¢nt of assets and

The trustees are responsible for k¢cpiDg acc(Kmting recor&8 that arc sufficient to show
and explain the Church's transactions and Ih"sclos¢ with accuracy at the time the &ssets
and liabilitics of the Church. They are also responsible for safcguardmg the assets of
the Church and hence for takmg reasonabl¢ stq)s for the prevention and detection of
fraud and other irrcgularities.
