A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in
the year
We started off with 14 girls in September and numbers remained fairly consistent during the year. We played
games with Do this do that, Sleeping Hedgehogs, Duck, duck, goose and Dusty Bluebells being favourites.
We took part in a Sponsored Walk in Lurgan Park and girls enjoyed being out in the open.
Girls made edible fireworks from Chocolate fingers dipped in sprinkles, played a game when the girls had to pretend
they were fireworks by crouching down then jumping up as if they were rockets or making circles with their hands
pretending they were sparklers. Girls enjoyed their Christmas party to end the year. Girls completed ‘Adventures
with Bubbles’ and the challenges included painting on bubble wrap and blowing bubbles in the car park and also
‘Rudolph Challenge’ when we sang some Christmas songs and did some Christmas crafts and Decorations. We also
played Snakes and Ladders and did some ‘snake’ activities and tried some activities using chop sticks. Mothers Day
cards were made and girls enjoyed that activity. On our last evening all the girls enjoyed a McD’s Happy Meal. Seven
of our girls are moving up to Brownies in September and we hope they continue to enjoy their Guiding journey.
