A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
The unit consisted of 18 girls who completed various activities related to their ‘Express Yourself’ and ‘Skills for my future’ Girlguiding themes. Outside of the official Girlguiding programme, the members completed challenge badges relating to bees and space, organised a special Brownie meeting for the important ladies in their lives, had a visit from ‘The Gathering Drum’ and ‘Dromore Beekeepers Association’, had a party to celebrate the King’s Coronation and completed various Christmas, Easter and Mother’s Day crafts. The unit also enjoyed trips to IMC Banbridge (to see ‘Matilda’ and ‘The Little Mermaid’), the Grand Opera House (to watch ‘Cinderella’), Airtastic trampoline park. The unit provided its membets with a weekend residential at Gosford Guide House, during which they attended Lurgaboy Adventure where they completed high ropes, leap of faith, orienteering and paddle boarding. There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.

A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
We started the year with £442.61 in the bank and petty cash and ended with £970.85. The surplus amount held is due to full payments being taken for the Pantomine in December 2023, which was held in the account until payment was made in the new financial year.
Details of any fund held by the Charity that was materially in deficit at the end of the year and steps taken by the Charity Trustees to eliminate the deficit
The charity was not in deficit at the end of the year. It was not in an overdraft position at any point throughout the year – there has always been sufficient money held in the bank.
