All Girlguiding Ulster Charities are governed by the Royal Charter and Bye-laws.
The Purpose of each of these Charities is to educate girls and young women to help them develop emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually so that they can make a positive contribution to their Community and the wider world.

A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year
We had 25 Rainbows attending the unit each week on a regular basis.
Activities included: Various crafts and games, Queen’s Platinum Coronation Party at Brownlow House, a visit from “Little Critters” and a visit from an Ice Cream van for our end of year party.

Charity trustees are aware of the guidance about the Commission’s public benefit requirement statutory guidance.
A review of the Charity’s financial position at the end of the year
The overall financial position of the unit is healthy. There are no debts and a running balance of £328 going into the 2023/24 year. This running balance is needed to allow for various craft materials to be purchased over the summer before 2023/24 income is obtained. Over the 2022/23 year, there was a total income of £2691 and an expenditure of £2417.
