Under the congregation's governlng document (The Code, The Book of Government and Order of the RPCI) the 5e55ion Seeks to watch over and promote the spiritual interest of the congregation. ensure pastoral care 15 in place in the congregation and seeks to further the contribution of the church to the Chrlstlan wrtness and servlce In the local communlty. The Session has delegated to the Board of Deacons the temporal affairs of the congregation includlng adminlste¥ing all fund5 and property belonglng to the congregation. Members of the Session are ex-officio members of the Board of Deacons. The Sesslon conslsts of the ordalned mlnlster (the teachlng elder} and the ruling elders of the congregation. All members are entitled to PTopose, speak and exercise equal vote5 at a church bu51ness rneetin8. The Session holds stated meetings as rèquired. ACTIVITIES AND 08JEcnvES The congregotlon meets for worship twice every Sabbath at whlch all vlsltors ale welcome to partlclpate. The Sacrament of the Lord's Supper Is observed three tlmes each year and open to members who meet the biblical iequirement5 of the denomination and to members in good standlng of other evangellcal churche5. The congregatlon hold a mld-weekly meÈtin8 to study the Blble and pray for a whole range of personal, church, national. Snternatlonal matters. ACHIEVEMENTS AND PERFORMANCE w0bIP and Prayer The congregatlon meets for worshlp each Sabbath at 12noon and 6.30pm. Durlng the week the Bible study provldes opportunltles to meet together for fellowship. to study the Scrlptures and have a time of prayer. A Sabbath school commenced and continued throughout the year with 5 chlldTen. A women'5 fellowship meetin8 commenced on a bl-monthly basls wlth around 12 ladles In attendance wlth several visitors joining the group on each occaslon. At 31 December 2023 there were 29 communicant members and 20 familles connected with the congregation. Pastoral Care Members of the congregatlon unable to attend worship due to slckness or age are vissted where approprl?te or contacted by telephone on a re8ular basis by the mlnlster and elders. Mlsslon The congre8ation financially contrlbutes to the wlder mission attivltles of the RPCI and also other misslonarylhumanitsrian endeavours throughout the world Indudlng contributions to the Turkey earthquake appeal and church extension work In The Gambia.

These beneflts are demonstrated In that the congregatlon provldes a for meetlng and worshSp- these are open to the wider public. Other benefits are sèÈn in the live5 of the people confomilng rnore and rnore tt> the hlghest ethlcal and moral standards in accordance with the Christian faith. Benefits can be further demonstrated through our missionary and outreach work and through the tralnlng of student5 for the Chrlstlan minlstry at our Reformed Theolo8lcal Colle8e. There wlll be no harm as a SuIt of the work of the congregatlon. The weekly worshlp seNlces and 8lble study are open to members, adherents and other members of the pub15c who mav w15h to attend, and Invttstlon5 are distributed locally to that end. Only those who meet the membershlp requlrements of the denomlnatlon may participate in the obseNance of the Lord's Supper. Outreach work 5$ conducted in the nelghbourhood of the church e.g., gospel trnct dlstribution, invitation to special Interest meetlngs In the Ballymena area. The con8reg3tlon maintains a church website wlth access to sermon recordlngs and a host of other theological, historical and devotlonal alds. The only prlvate benefit within the context of the work of the congregatlon is the personal deeper understandlng and experSence galned by those Involved In promotlng the alrns of the Christian falth and of the denomlnatlon. FINANCIAL REVIEW The con8re8atlon's maln source ot Income Is members, contrlbutlons through the weekly Freewlll Offerlng. There were 28 contrlbutors durlng the year128 in 20221 donating a total of £34.00412022: £31,850) Total Income of the congregatlon duringthe yearwas £66.832 compared to £137.627 In the previous year. Last yearfs Sncome included a one off bequest of £72.911. Total expendlture Increased from £64.656 to £70.519.
