Public Benefit
The organisation has operated through 2022 within the bounds of the Public Benefit Statement, and in accordance with our governing document. It has continued to promote the advancement of religion through public worship, public outreach events and public services. All these efforts consistently benefit and inform those who attend. Children’s ministries continue to thrive under the care of voluntary leaders, teaching the Bible to children and engaging in children’s worship. In order to increase our efficacy, our leadership team participated in several training sessions with other charities. We continue to operate within the Lisburn-Castlereagh council area. All our efforts continue to be operated under Biblical principles, and FMC guidelines. The trustees benefit from the charity only in the same capacity as the general public.
The trustees have regarded the Commission’s Public Benefit requirement statutory guidance.

Charity Purpose
For the use and benefit of the Dundonald Congregation of the Free Methodist Church of North America for the object and the furtherance in Dundonald and its environments of the religious and other Charitable work of the Free Methodist Church of North America in accordance with the doctrines, disciplines and usages of that Church for the time being as set forth in its Book of Discipline

This is as set out in the 2015 edition of the Book of Discipline of the Free Methodist Church, and also in accordance with our Declaration of Trust.
