Trustees re ort for Charlemont and Crana ill Youn at Heart- For Year 2023 The year commenced with guest speaker Dr Kyle Matchett a native of Tullyroan who is now a professional with Cancer Research. The AGM was held on 20th April 2023 with Frances Kerr elected as chairperson, Alan Murphy -ViGeperson, Sally Murphy - Secretary, Brian Gilbert - Treasurer. The Committee Members are Lucy Boyce, Thomas Glenny, Joy Price and Mildred Jackson. During the year guest speakers were Ivan Steen and Diane Machett. Peter Calvin spoke about his support for a hospital in Uganda, the club presented him with a cheque for £100.00 to purchase 10 mosquito nets. Two craft classes were held during year. A very successful trip to visit Hillsborough Castle was sponsored by Halifax Building Society. The grant awarded was for £1850 which covered lunch in the Premier Inn, the visit to the Castle, afternoon tea and coach hire of £400.00. A BBQ was held at Tullyroan in June which 90 people attended. This event was sponsored by the ABC Council to celebrate the King's Coronation. Twenty-nine members attended Digby's Restaurant in Killylea in December for the Christmas dinner which was enjoyed by all. The balance in the bank on 1 st January 2023 was £1959.32. After income of £5.020 and expenditure of £4,534 the credit in the Bank was £2,445.61 at 31 st December 2023. -La • kLLY)g -
