STATEMENT OF EXECUTIVE COMMITIEE'S REsPONSIBIL￿IE5
The constitution requires the Executive Committee to p￿pate accounts for each financial year
which give a true and fair view of the stste of affairs of the Club and of the SU￿luS or deficit of
the Club for thai period. In preparing those financial sta￿rnents, the EX￿UtiVe Commit￿e is
reauired to:
- sekct suitsble accounting w)licles and then apply them consi*endy:
- make judgements and esdrna￿ that are reasonable and pwdent,
- prepare the accounts on the going concem basts, unless It is inapproprfare to p￿SuMe thai the
Club will conttnue in business.
The Execuuve COI)￿1ttee ts respoTJsible for keeping proper accounting records. which dlsclose
with reasonable accuracy ai any lime the financial position of the Club. They are also
responsible for safeguarding the assers of the Club and hence for tskin8 reasonable steps for the
prevention and de￿CtiOn of fraud and other Irregularilies.
