The Trustees, Report contains the information required to be provided in the Trustees, Annual Report under the
Slalement of Recommended Practi￿ ISORP) guidelines. The trustees of the company are also charity Iruslees for
the purpose of charity law and under the company's constitution are known as members of the board of Iruslees.
In this report the ITUStees of South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association present a summary of rt$ purpose,
governance. aclivtties. achievements and finan￿$ for the financial financial year 31 December 2023.

Flnanclal Results
Al the end of the financial year the charity has assets of £125.76712022 - £173.7881 and liabilities of £171 {2022
£9221. The nel assets of the ¢harity have decreased by £{49,114).

Achlevem•nts & perfornjance
Overall, SLNRA Continue lo provide much needed servlce to Ihose Ilving in the South Lough Neagh rural areas and
conlinu8S to engage with the community on a weekly basis. We wod( in partnership with other charitable
organisalions, groups and community representalNe5 and are part of the Nl Whle Healthy Llwng Centre Alliance and
hold Healthy Ilving Centr6 slalus.
In the Maghery area. SLNRA ran a pilol. 8etter Days Programme a 10-week Chronic Pain Support piojecl led by
group participants $tegring their own health needs to cope with pain levels and to improve daily lives. Aspects
covered.. Phamiacisl infomiation talk, importance of sleep, Nutrition and cooking. meeting with MLA re health service
G.P issues and Chi Me gentle movement and Breath AwaTer￿$s. The group thoroughly enjoyed this lime and contact
Is maintained with those who attended.

SLNRA affja. All events and programmes were mu¢h welcomed post Covid.
Gel Up & Discover Schools Pro9ramme delivered until July 2023 in $even primary schools encouraged outdoor
engagement and learning with improvement of mental and emotional w611 being and resilience for children, including
art therapy. This programme slrenglhened School relats'onships and community development and MO￿ importantly
holistic farnily supporL As part of this we worked in partnership lo assist family wellbeing days in Aghagallon,
Derrymacash and Derrytrasna.
Heritag• 4 Health Programme slarted in Seplembgr 2023 whrch provides and highlights Heritage Information talks,
walks, Combined with activities that maintain physi¢al. mental and emotional health for example. Chines& medi¢ing,
traditional ¢raft$, Chi Qong and tradiltonal dancing.
We have also completed surv8y$ in 2023 with groups and Indiv￿ua1S in the SLNRA geographical area lo assess
needs. meet needs and address any gaps through engaging and offering adv¢se in relation lo these needs and
potential funding streams.
Ending 2023. we ran a Wint•r Empower Women programme consistin9 of self4efen¢e. yoga worf(shops and Well
Being Pamper days to support women and enabfe netsvorks to be mainlained. This was welcomed and feedback
strongly suggested a much needed support of this ruialty. Therefo￿. SLNRA enquired fvrther regardin9 funding in
relation to this type of support and will await news of any successful funds in 2024.

On the general management and govemance requirements we continue lo meet regularly as a Board where
¢on$iderable time and effort has been spent tying to overcome the issues described in last yeals report following the
loss of tsyo service level conlraets and the ongoing negoliab.on of our rental costs with our landlord. 11 is a key
objective going fomard to rejuvenate and reloc￿5 our business so that we be¢ome less r81ianl on traditional sour￿$
of income.

Articles of Association dated 9th Augu$1 2005. In the event of the company being wound up, the liability in respect of
the guarantee is limited lo £1 per member. The Company is under the control of the Dire¢lor5. who are therefore
acting Twstees for the charity.
South Lough Neagh Regeneration Association undfrr a SeNice level Agreement with the Loughshore Care
partnership continue lo dellver a range of seNces for older pwlo in the a￿a through the manag¢ment of volunteers
who deliver a Day Care seN[￿ and Befriending Scheme.
The group were abl6 lo use the evaluation of the Lough$hore Access to Basic Health & W811-being project lo support
Its appliealion lo the Big Lottery - Connecling Young Families Programmg. This application was successfvl $e¢uring
fvndlng for S year5 to deliver the Loughshore Famity Action Project fcKu$ing on servic•s for families.
