A summary of the Charity’s main activities to further its purposes for the public benefit and the main achievements in the year

This year we had 16 girls attending the unit aged 14 – 18 years old, the unit was supports by two leaders and one young leader.

The programme provided a range of activities through the year from educational such as women in power to relationship building such as games. We also developed life skills through discussions, craft, baking, and problem solving and encouraging and supporting each other.

The unit actively participated in their local community through partaking in church services and at a remembrance parade, also helping the young person to develop in confidence, learn about their values and believes and public speaking skills.

We believes that young people so have a voice and actively participate in their unit one of the ways that we demonstrate this is through the girls creating their own programme for each term and selecting the badges they wish to gain. The chosen badges this year were: Culture, World thinking, Girl Power, Alcohol Awareness and Making a difference locally. The girls are also working towards their look wider badges.

There was no harm flowing from the Charities purposes and that there was no private benefit.
