Minutes of the Annual General Meeting held on 8[th] June 2023 in the Crieve Centre.

Present: Paddy Park, Billy Armstrong, Pat Smith, Louise Park, David Lyttle (by Zoom), Nuala McReynolds

Paddy welcome everyone to the annual general meeting. Minutes of the last AGM held by zoom were read and adopted. Proposed by Pat Smith and seconded by Nuala McReynolds.

Chairpersons Address

Paddy gave an update on the year-to-date activities at the Crieve Centre and thanked everyone for their cooperation and help during the year. David Lyttle reported on the financial accounts for the previous year and gave recommendations on Vacant Unit and arrears due to pandemic.

The Board thanked David for his cooperation and work on the Financial Accounts.

David left the meeting.

Vacant Units

Louise gave a report of Unit 1 still being unoccupied with no luck with using Baird Estate Agents and requested approval to approach Tom Henry & Co to advertise the Unit going forward. This was agreed by the committee

Stewartstown Amateur Dramatic Society are still in arrears, but we are hopeful of payment as Louise has been in discussion with Gerard Hall from the organisation and they are back running, and Pantomimes planned. Louise provided the group with a statement of account, and it was agreed to send a letter to Gerard Hall to arrange a meeting to discuss full payment outstanding.

Financial Report / UCIT Loan

Louise updated the Directors on the current financial position providing all members with Profit and loss report and Balance Sheet to date. Accounts will be forwarded to Sharon at Daivd Lyttle & Co by the end of the summer for accounts to be produced.

Rental Units – Louise informed the board of losses to date but are expected payment.

No issues with any other tenants.

The Historical Society have regular bookings of the meeting room commenced on the last Monday of every month. It was agreed to provide James Glendinning a key for entry.

Stewartstown Community Group and Cookstown Western Shores still use the meeting room regularly. We have other community organisations bookings over the year from the football clubs.

Proposal of Officers

It was proposed that all 3 officers remain in post for at least one more year. This proposed by Nuala McReynolds and seconded by Billy Armstong.
